Support for what
you’re carrying
A few of the areas I work with most often. If something here feels familiar, you’re welcome to reach out. You don’t need to have it all figured out first.
Trauma
Sometimes the hardest part of trauma isn’t what happened. It’s the way it continues to affect you long after it’s over.
You may feel like you’ve moved on, only to have something completely unexpected bring everything rushing back. A sound. A smell. A place. A conversation. Suddenly, it feels like you’re right back in that moment, even though you know you’re safe.
For some people, trauma looks like panic attacks or nightmares. For others, it’s always feeling on edge, startling easily, avoiding certain places, or never feeling like they can truly relax. Living that way is exhausting.
Healing is possible. Together, we can help your mind and nervous system learn that what happened is in the past so you can begin to feel safe in the present again.
Anxiety
Everyone feels anxious sometimes. Generalized anxiety is different.
Anxiety can become so constant that it feels like your mind never gets a chance to rest. You may overthink conversations, replay situations, or constantly wait for something to go wrong. It’s exhausting.
Because everyone experiences anxious moments, people may tell you to ‘just stop worrying.’ If it were that simple, you would have done it already.
Therapy can help you quiet the constant mental noise and develop tools that help you feel calmer, more present, and more in control.
Grief & Loss
Grief is about more than losing someone you love. You may be grieving your health, a relationship, a career, the future you imagined, or the years you feel were taken from you.
Sometimes people are carrying several losses at the same time without realizing they’re grieving at all.
Therapy provides a place to acknowledge those losses, make sense of what you’re feeling, and move forward while still honoring what mattered to you.
Life Transitions
Life is full of transitions. Some are planned. Others arrive without warning. Even when a change is the right one, it can still be difficult.
It’s okay to grieve what you’re leaving behind while also feeling hopeful about what’s ahead. Those feelings can exist at the same time.
While transitions bring uncertainty, they also bring opportunity. Therapy can help you navigate what’s changing and move forward with confidence into what’s next.
Substance Use & Recovery
If you’re wondering whether your relationship with alcohol or drugs has become a problem, you don’t have to have all the answers before reaching out.
Recovery is about more than stopping alcohol or drug use. It’s about understanding what led you there, developing healthier ways to cope, and building a life that feels meaningful.
Whether you’re the one struggling or supporting someone you love, healing is possible for individuals and families.
When the past won’t
stay in the past
Sometimes we know we’re safe, but our mind and body still react as if the past is happening all over again. EMDR helps the brain process experiences that have become ‘stuck’ so they no longer have the same emotional intensity. It doesn’t erase what happened, but it can help you remember it without feeling like you’re reliving it.
As someone who has personally experienced the benefits of EMDR, I understand how life-changing this work can be. Healing doesn’t mean forgetting what happened. It means no longer feeling like the past is controlling your present.
Wherever you are today,
you’re welcome here
If any of this feels familiar, I’d be glad to walk alongside you. Reach out whenever you’re ready.
